How long until I can run again after an ankle sprain?

For a typical grade I–II sprain, light jogging usually returns around 2–4 weeks once you have full pain-free range of motion, single-leg balance, and can hop without pain. A structured return-to-sport progression — walking, jogging, change of direction, sprinting — protects against re-injury, which is the biggest risk in the first 12 months.

Do you treat post-surgical patients?

Yes — we run full post-operative rehab for ACL and meniscus repairs, rotator cuff, shoulder stabilisation, hip and knee replacements, and spinal surgery. We work alongside your surgeon's protocol and progress you back to daily life or sport with objective testing.

Yes — limited home visits are available in Marbella and Mijas for patients who can't travel (post-surgery, acute back pain). Online video consultations are an option for exercise progressions, second opinions, and follow-ups when in-person isn't possible.

Absolutely. Many of our patients are visitors needing acute care for a flare-up, sports injury, or recovery between training blocks. Bring details of your previous treatment if relevant and we'll get you back to your trip quickly.

What is dry needling and does it hurt?

Dry needling uses fine acupuncture-style needles to release tight muscle trigger points and reduce pain. Most people feel a brief cramp or twitch when the needle finds the right spot, followed by a noticeable release. It's well tolerated and often combined with manual therapy and exercise.

When is shockwave therapy the right treatment?
